MID Ratepayers Deserve Transparency and Accountability

As your next MID Director, I will focus on restoring transparency and accountability to the Board. Protecting our water resources, improving our infrastructure, and keeping rates low for local families will be my top priorities.

I hope to earn your vote.

A man with glasses and short gray hair stands outdoors in a garden or park with green trees and a wooden fence in the background. He is wearing a blue button-up shirt with rolled-up sleeves and has his hands in his pockets, smiling at the camera.

I was born and raised in Modesto. I began working in construction and civil engineering when I was 18-years-old, and have since built two local businesses. I know how to balance a budget and make tough choices.

Serving my community has always been one of my core values. I was a founding member of the La Loma Neighborhood Association and serve on the Modesto Downtown Partnership Board. I have also served on the citizen oversight boards for two local tax measures because I believe in fiscal responsibility and making sure government officials use our tax dollars wisely.

I am currently the Chair of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce Water Committee, focusing on local water issues. As a business owner and residential ratepayer, I am acutely aware of how MID electrical rates impact the bottom line for families and businesses.

My wife, Kathy, and I raised our son and daughter here in Modesto. The MID Board must make decisions to improve the district for future generations.
